Customer service is the worst
Respected sir/madam,
On March 8th, I placed an order from Newport News. When it arrived on March 11th, I immediately took two of the items to UPS for an even exchange. Here I sit on April 13th having received none of the items.
I called customer service yesterday, and the rep admitted that my exchange request hasnt even appeared in their system, even though they do have the record of my return.
I asked when I will receive my replacement order. The rep told me to give it another couple of weeks.
This is outlandish. They have my money. They feel no obligation to get my clothes to me before the season ends.
By the way, even though I was polite and told the rep that I knew the problem was not her fault but the managements, she offered no apology whatsoever. I told her (politely) that Newport News shoddy customer service surprised me, and that I probably will not order from them again.
After I hung up the phone (oh, yeah; I waited over seven minutes on hold to talk to a rep in the first place), I realized I definitely will not order from Newport News again.
Life is much too short for this nonsense. From now on, Im sticking with retailers who value my business.
