Today, on Memorial Day, we received a phone call from a telamarketer from Direct Buy. She spoke with my husband and made an offer for a chance to win a fifty thousand dollar make over. My husband gave the phone to my son for me to talk to her. My son accidently hung up the phone. I tried to call it back but it isnt a number that receives calls. At 8:45 pm she calls me back. She asked for me and I said this is she, then she said that earlier she had spoken to my husband and he hung up on her. I tried to apologize and she wouldnt give me a chance to say a word. She went on saying if you are not interested the proper way is to say you are not interested then she said this is how it feels and she hung up on me.
I understand how hard a telamarketers job is and have always been kind to them. The mistake she made is that we were planning on joining Direct Buy this week! As you have figured it out we will not be joining a company that has childish people working for them! I have made a formal complaint with the BBB and recommend that all are cautious with Direct Buy and their customer service!!
