My husband was recently admitted to Quality Living Center (QLC). He was approached by a member that was representing there Court Liason when he was in jail. Its a complete sham. We gave him 450 dollars and he was there too pick him up when released. He couldnt give us any information as too what the program was about his excuse was that he works for so many that he doesnt remember which does which. When my husband gets there it is a prison all the windows are taped up. You cant eat anything extra unless you buy it out of the vending machine. Even though they receive one EBT card. The shower was mildewed and food in the refrigerator expired. They are government funded. My husband completed a week there when he was yelled at by a counselor who interrupted one of the group meetings. The family is not involved at all in there recovery. They have to EARN visits from there own family! This is absurd! The counselors are inefficient, unprofessional, and a detriment to any addicts recovery. He has since moved to the Hoover Program by Better Community Development it is a wonderful place! They are all about doing everything possible to help aid in your recovery. They understand that family is an important part of recovery. Do not send your loved ones to Quality Living Center. I highly recommend the Hoover Program
