I think I emailed one person who MyLife said was searching for me. When he said he didn\\\\t know me. I left it at that. But then most of us have to realize that perhaps your LAST NAME is a common one, and they maybe searching for someone who has the exact same name as you...first and last. I have found NUMEROUS of females on the web with the same name as myself. The difference, were our ages, and middle names. Secondly, you never pay on sites like this a MINIMAL price like $5.99. You pay on lump sum. That lump sum is the TOTAL of what you would have paid for however long you chose to have the account. As for refunds...MOST companies will not issue a refund, and they will warn you of this in this thing they like to call USER AGREEMENTS/TERMS AND CONDITIONS for legal purposes. There are several sections that are within said LEGAL PAPER. They have these to protect you the CONSUMER and them the PRODUCT PROVIDER. If you are not satisfied with the product you have to email them, which could take up to a week for them to respond to, but in the end they will either refund you, or tell you they don\\\\t issue refunds. As for IMPORTING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS BOOK. YOU have the option to SKIP this when creating a profile on certain sites. Every time I am asked if I want to import my friend email addresses, or invite them, I decline the offer. My friends deserve that type of respect. If you just ZOOM through setting up your profiles, there is no telling what you are signing yourself up for, or if you are giving them access to your address book. READ first what you are signing up for. TAKE YOUR TIME when creating your profile. PAY ATTENTION to what you are clicking on. NEVER agree to pay for something, that you will be dissatisfied with. And if you signed up by using a FREE TRIAL MEMBERSHIP...ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS cancel your membership a day or two days BEFORE your FREE TRIAL MEMBERSHIP ends so your credit card isn\\\\t charged.
