Respected sir/madam,
To \\\"Heartless A**holes\\\" at the Denver Post -- I placed an obituary for my daughter last week -- it was about 30 lines or so with a picture and the cost was nearly $600 -- when I looked at the paper today ... I determined that a single obituary page is about $25, 000 in revenue to the paper -- and I doubt that is what you charge the folks that put their crappy ads in your paper. Perhaps it does not matter in the end -- as media is changing and you and your \\\"friends\\\" will be out of business in the next 5-10 years -- however in the interim, I think it is criminal that you take advantage of bereaved families with this elitist approach to obituaries. I truly regret calling you my hometown paper -- additionally ... expect this same note posted in many places around the web as I think it is a key point which should cause people to reevaluate you as a community sponsor -- you have both a lack of compassion and soul.
