Respected sir/madam,
I graduated from The Cosmetology Institute-Paul Mitchell Partner School in Temecula, CA. My education turned out to be priceless. I just read all of the reviews and it\\\\s obvious to me that the angry-bitter people who wrote them were the ones sitting in the back of the class talking/texting, the ones who refused to take clients and the ones who came to school with a nasty ponytail on their head and last night\\\\s make up. I was on Phase 2, Design Team and Take Home team. It was MY effort that got me through school with the education that I did. The owners are amazing people. They want everyone to get the most out of the education they provide but if you refuse to make the effort yourself what are they supposed to do? Every school has challenges and ways they can improve but instead of pointing the finger everyone needs to learn to take control of their own lives and do what it best for their future. I learned more than cosmetology at this school. I am an amazing hairdresser but I now have a beautiful relationship with my mother because a culture class hosted by our education leader gave me the courage to make our relationship better. I met some of my best friends in school and the Learning Leaders were nothing but professional. I am still using the scissors, blow dryer and flat iron from my kit after 2 years of using them every day. I was never pressured to buy doll heads. They give us 2 in the kit and structure the classes to maximize the use of the doll heads. Long cute to short cuts. I purchased more doll heads on my own at $25 each. There is one thing I agree with all the reviews about, DO YOUR RESEARCH and you will either end up sitting in a smock at some nameless community college rolling perms, or you will end up a Future Professional at a school with a 94% state board passing rate.
