Purchased a new 2006 Ford F350 from Capital Ford in Carson City Nevada along with an extended warranty plan for an additional $2750.00. Told by the salesman what a great deal this was because if we never used the plan, we would be refunded the FULL purchase price after the 5 year contract was up. Just sent my refund request 12/16/11 certified mail/return receipt. It was returned all right - unopened and refused. The postal service marked the return mail as \\\"box closed\\\" and \\\"under dispute\\\". After only 10 minutes on-line I realized that I will most likely never see my money again. Signet Financial Group, Inc., President Gregg Lehman of Fort Worth Texas has closed his doors at the Vacaville, CA location and has not been heard from since mid summer 2011. I contacted the Nevada Division of Insurance, who advised me that they are currently under investigation to determine whether or not they were required to file with the department to operate in Nevada and welcomed my complaint and any and all information I had for this company. Searching only a few more days has uncovered a string of corporations which this man has established across the entire United States. Signet Financial Group, Signet Financial LLC, Onemain Inc, Citifinancial Assurance, Citi Insurance Services and the list goes on and on. Nevada, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Delaware, Texas, Colorado, New York to name only a few states in which this crook has been conning his way through the system. Only one month before closing his doors in Vacaville, CA, Mr. Lehman filed with the state of Texas for the new Citi Financial Group, Inc. Sound too coincidental? Does to me. By the way, the address is 3001 Meacham, Ft. Worth, TX. Looking at this nice big colonial style home in a beautiful neighborhood on Google earth makes me sick to my stomach and left wondering why a nationwide company would establish it\\\\s corporate headquarters out of someones home residence? Not only will I be filing a complaint with the Nevada Division of Insurance, I will be filing with the Attorney General\\\\s office and my local FBI office. This is clear cut fraud at the lowest level. The dealership is not returning calls and none of the 4 that were involved in selling these bogus plans have stepped up to help in any way according to the NDOI. PLEASE - everyone call your local news stations, senators and representatives and call the FBI. This is the type of white-collar crime that needs to be exposed. If the word does not get out and we don\\\\t make a stand against the dealerships that are selling these plans, this will continue to pull more people down.
