Respected sir/madam,
I bought a PRO-FORM 110R Recumbant exercise bike on 2 Jan 2012. At the time of purchase I bought a service agreement, The bike is still under warranty. The bike was delivered on 8 Jan 2012, and set up by the delivery personnel.\r\n\r\nToday, 16 Jan 2012, the bike began making clicking noises. I called to make a service appt and was told that there are no Sat appts through 16 Feb 2012. The individuals I spoke with Earl, and his supervisor Alma, indicated that there may be no Sat service calls available in my area, San Marcos CA. The latest weekday appt that was offered is afternoons from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Earl and Alma suggested I either keep calling back until I can obtain an appt after Feb 16, or have a neighbor look at the bike and try to fix it. Neither of these options are acceptable, nor are they customer service friendly.\r\n\r\nPlease note that I bought this bike from Sears as in the past the service I was provided with my appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer) was great. I am very disappointed and frustrated with the current service policy, especially given that this is a NEWLY purchased item.\r\n\r\nI would appreciate and help in resolving this service issue.\r\n\r\nBest Regards,\r\n\r\nNancy Waddell |
