Respected sir/madam,
If you are a party having a claim with Geico insurance you might as well hang it up now.The company will not respond to phone calls faxes and mail correspondence. Their so called claims department only works from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and does not respond to phone calls over the lunch hour. It is impossible to try to conduct business and get a claim resolved when you are never able to reach anyone. Most consumers work during the day and therefore are not important enough to have your claim handled unless it falls in a time period which suits them. They deny receiving faxes and mail correspondence and deter you from trying to settle claims with them. My husband and I were struck by a drunk driver insured by Geico and they are doing everything in their power to not settle and not pay out what they owe. Contacting them has proved impossible trying to be civil has not worked no wonder we live in a litigious society these days you try to do things the correct way and no one will help you. I strongly urge the public to think long and hard about using this company for anything. There Gecko is a perfect Icon for them slithery and chameleon like and constantly on the move to be illusive to the people that are depending on this company to actually do the right thing what a huge JOKE they are
