Respected sir/madam,
I have a complaint about this company. I ordered the sign on the 5th of December, I paid £35 for the sign and a £7.95 delivery charge.\r\ni received no conformation e-mail regarding the design approval as stated on the website, and when i did not receive the sign in the 5 working days (as stated on the website) i tried to contacted the company to no avail. i left a message and sent and e-mail but received no communication back!\r\nThe sign was delivered a week later (20th December), disappointing as it was a Christmas present to be sent to Ireland with relatives 2 days earlier, had i received it in the promised time frame this wouldn\\\\t have been an issue... in good faith i put this down to manufacturing pressure during a busy period. However ... on opening the packaging it read Hill Side not Hill View as ordered. Now extremely disappointed, i contacted prestige slate on the same day and got through to an answerphone message saying they had closed for the Christmas holiday until the 4th January. Not the sign of a company under pressure!!!\r\ni called again in the new year, hopeful and trusting that someone would be able to resolve this issue. Countless phone calls and emails a month on, i still have not been able to contact the company and have received no communication back.I think the customer service is disgraceful\r\nI have lost complete faith that i will receive the correct sign i have paid for . I will be writing to the trading standards agency to put forward my grievances and in the mean time i am out of pocket and can only try to get a refund from paypal.\r\nPS... They also seem to be known as www.openingplaques.com and brag on their website about celebrity customers, obviously i am not considered a valued customer as i am ordinary jo public!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone famous or not!!!
