These organizations are setting standards for service dogs that seem unreasonable. There are organizations such as paws and stripes that allow a vet to pick their own dog. When speaking with a man named sarg I was told he would not train me and my dog because the dog was my pet for a few years and for them to train me a dog would have to go through a test but notes were allowed to be trained. What is the standard for service dogs? They say a dog must pass testing, be friendly and approachable by kids. If a service dog is not allowed to be approached, why does it matter. I heard the owner of paws ad strips on radio saying his dog watches his back, when asked it it bites he said not necessarily. Sarg said their dogs will not bite and no dog that would should be a service dog. Our founding canines wants their dogs to be re tested ever year, anyone else doing that. There are a lot of vets needing dogs but the standards are too high. Is this company doing the right thing, if so how does other companies make it so easy.
