Inflitration into Privacy
Respected sir/madam,
Vodafone and its additional marketting team sends multiple promotional sms everyday, ranging from 5-6 a day to 40-50 sms a week and cloggs our inbox with promotional sms that provides them revenue at our cost. Please note that we do not enroll for this service but its forced on all new customers without our consent.
Frustrated with these sms, I called up the customer care team to remove my name from the list. Now these service providers who have such progressive turbn around times when it comes to scheduling promotional interviews, processing payment dates and auto cnacellation of accounts due to late payment or wrong-updation of data, the same ruthles providers are using the leniancy provided by our GOVT to these anti social elements and responding to frustrated ordinary people like me saying that it will take 45 (FORTY FIVE) working days for them to process this request.
In the year 2010, a fully automated process takes 45 days to process a request like inlitration into a customers privacy????
I believe these companies should be charged with heavy penalties for such indignified policies.
