Misleading info, false advertisement
Respected sir/madam,
I was referred by a friend to direct tv, who sent me a link to show me that they were offering to lock the savings for two years, when I called they said( anthony said) let me sign up and then that\\\\s something order support will have to do, well order support said that I was told the wrong info and they will put a ticket to the local office to look into it, even though i was looking at the add that said lock your savings for two years on line they acted like they knew nothing about it, one day before installing my service i called to ask if I could add a third receiver to the account, the agent said that is too late now but what I can do is put a note for the installer to bring a third unit to the house and for me to just remind him of that, will I did, the installer said I see the note but let me call in to confirm, he called and the rep. told him that I would have to cancelled the order and place a new one in order for me to get the third receiver, I was on the phone for work, I told the installer let me get off the phone with work which I left so I can have this installed and then I will talk to Direct tv and solve the issue, He said sure do that, i will set up out side then he came in and said you know what I will be back in 45 MINUTES I said sure but I have to be back at work at 1:30 he went to his van and started driving, I called him and asked if he could just come install the equipment and forget about the third receiver, he said Yes I will be back in a bit, i was sitting at home waiting, 2pm came a round and I called the installer but he won\\\\t pick up I called order support and they said that he is running behind and will be there in 2 hours, but he never showed up, I called again and I was told to wait, then I got a call from the local office for direct tv, they said sorry but he won\\\\t make it till tomorrow morning, They waisted my whole day and when I called to ask if they could send someone else I was told (sorry if the local office called you and said that we have no control over the appointments and we can\\\\t do anything about that ) so I cancelled the order after trying for an hour asking for them to send someone else. The installer was very unprofessional, he walked all over my carpet with his dirty shows, he wanted to cut my internet cable lines and use them for direct tv lines I had to ask him about 3 times not to do so, then he said Ok ill install a new line.
