Delivery issues
Respected sir/madam,
Ordered a queen sized mattress/box spring set from this \\\"company\\\" on 2/15/12 on the recommendation of a friend. I was told it would cost $165.00, including delivery. They delivered it 2/18/12...or, rather, they didn\\\\t deliver it.\r\n\r\nOne delivery man was especially surly and rude. He acted as though doing the job he was hired for and being paid to do was a imposition. He walked in the front door, took one look at my stairs and declared that they couldn\\\\t get the box spring up the stairs. THEY WOULDN\\\\T EVEN ATTEMPT IT.\r\n\r\nI called the \\\"company\\\" I bought the set from and even offered to pay extra money if I could exchange it. I was told no, they couldn\\\\t take it back.\r\n\r\nIf that wasn\\\\t enough, the surly delivery man threw a fit when I told him I wanted the mattress. He complained and whined the entire time he and his assistant were taking the mattress upstairs (even though they had no problems getting it upstairs)\r\n\r\nI ended up paying $165.00 for a mattress I CAN use and a boxspring that is sitting on my porch. I have had to pay ANOTHER $154.00 for a split queen box spring from another company, so the $165.00 \\\"bargain\\\" was no bargain at all.\r\n\r\nI reported them to the Better Business Bureau in both Pennsylvania AND Delaware.
