Bad customer service
Respected sir/madam,
The glass carafe for our 12-cup DeLonghi coffeemaker broke. I ordered a replacement from DeLonghi accessories on February 8, 2012 for $26.90. Full of hope, I called on February 27th to ask where the carafe was. Sorry, I was told, it\\\\s on back order for another 3-5 weeks -- that\\\\s in addition to the 2 1/2 weeks you\\\\ve been in withdrawal already.\r\nUp to SEVEN weeks before shipment? I\\\\ll have passed through all seven stages of grief by then. What is wrong with them? They\\\\re in the business of making the coffee. Well, I\\\\ve cancelled the order even though I know they\\\\ll be hurt. The relationship is over; the wedding is off. Too bad, DeLonghi No. DCF112, because I liked your good looks and sleek form, especially the swing in your coffee basket which allowed you to fit nicely under my kitchen cabinet. But then, you were always having emotional outbursts, sending floods of coffee across my counter if I wasn\\\\t super-careful to nuzzle your carafe in place just right, so I\\\\ll brush away my tears and head to BB&B to search for some other super-model.
