Use of personal images and content without pe
Respected sir/madam,
I have been accused of knowingly trying to sell an autographed mickey mantle baseball that members of Autograph Magazine Live website think is a fake. No evidence has been provided other than opinion, while I have a certificate of authenticity from a sports memorabilia dealer with questionable history but that does not automatically condemn my signed baseball. This is irresponsible on their part. An argument for malice intent can be made when this website and several members of said site have taken my information and photographs without permission and stated in writing I was deliberately trying to sell a fraudulent autograph. This was done knowing it could and likely would harm my reputation. This was done so without any proof being offered. I have requested several times in writing to please remove the photos, auction listing and any of my personal information immediately. They have declined.\r\n\r\nUnder the circumstances, I was inclined to use an alias of Steve Wilson in the forums to further protect my identity. This is common practice online. The forum knows me as Steve Wilson.\r\n\r\nDue to their irresponsible actions my reputation to sell on Ebay is being harmed. I even offered to let them use the photos if they removed my eBay name. They agreed and then later refused. The information is still posted in a public forum today.\r\n\r\nThere are several contributors on the website who have been commenting on this issue. All of these comments are available to the public through search engines.\r\n\r\nThe comments span pages 60-64 of the “Mantle, Williams and DiMaggio: Authenticating Baseball Forger Favorites” forum as of today.\r\n\r\nSteve Cyrkin is the forum Moderator. He originally agreed to remove and later decided he wouldn\\\\t remove my information.\r\n\r\nOriginal forum topic posted by Larry Rosenbaum.\r\n\r\nChris Williams found my information on Ebay and submitted my it to the forum.\r\n\r\nChris Williams contacted me on Ebay and raised the initial question of authenticity. He may be right but could also be wrong. No proof other than opinion has been provided.\r\n\r\n\\\"Lance\\\" outright accused me of knowingly selling fraudulent item. He later stated it was in error.\r\n\r\nOther contributor names or their aliases are \\\"Mr. Zipper\\\", terrier8HOF\\\\s, James Wymer, Michael Wagner, DB, Louie reeves, Fuddjcal, Harry Lare, Travis Christenberry.\r\n\r\nAutograph Magazine\r\nPO Box 25559\r\nSanta Ana, CA 92799\r\nEditorial Contact\r\nSteve Cyrkin\r\nPublisher, Autograph Magazine\r\nCommunity Manager, Autograph Magazine Live\r\nEmail: steve.cyrkin@autographmagazine.com\r\nI wish Autograph Magazine Live remove my information and photos from their website and anywhere else they have used them immediately. I would also like them to destroy my images and all other materials related to me or my property immediately. Finally, I would like assurances they will not use my information or photos ever again.\r\n\r\nThank you,\r\nTerry Merlo\r\nAutograph Magazine Live User Name: Steve Wilson
