Severely Botched Medical Tourism Dentistry by
Respected sir/madam,
Doctor Alberto coto Calvo was the Dentist. He broke my tooth causing 3 root canals to be preformed while in his care. He left me with half of my teeth open margin ( the crowns are popped off my teeth ) and he screwed up my bite so badly that I now suffer from severe TMJ, constant horrible pain on a daily basis, can\\\\t eat or speak properly and so on. The cost to fix my bite alone is $35, 000 ( which I don\\\\t have ) plus thousands more for additional work that I need because of Doctor Coto\\\\s negligence\r\n.\r\nI am an American woman and have been seen by several American specialists who all confirm that all of my teeth will start falling out because of all the open margins caused by Doctor Coto.\r\n\r\nI have a seizure disorder and no American dentist will give me denture\\\\s when I become toothless because dentures can slip during a seizure in which case I can choke to death.\r\n\r\nI was almost arrested, charged with a felony and locked up in a Costa Rican prison for complaining publicly about being butchered abroad ( There is no freedom of speech in Costa Rica including for Americans ) Complaining publicly about any Costa Rican citizen is a felony which falls under speaking against the reputation of a Costa Rican. This considered a very serious felony in Costa Rica. I was fortunate to flee the Costa Rica immediately and lucky that I wasn\\\\t thrown in a 3rd world country Costa Rican prison.\r\n\r\nBelow is a copy of my very first medical report shortly after I was butchered by Doctor Alberto Coto. My condition has since become far worse.\r\n\r\nMichael S. Ramer, D.D.S.\r\nProsthodontist\r\nMay 18, 2011\r\nBank of America\r\nDispute Resolution Services\r\nP.O. Box 53137\r\nPhoenix, A285072-3137\r\nRe: Claim # 11397L2\r\nMichael S. Ramer, D.D.S.\r\n\r\nTo Whom It May Concern:\r\n\r\nI am writing this letter on behalf of my patient Kimberly Rogers. As you can see from my\r\nIetterhead, I am a Prosthodontist, which is a dental specialist in the fabrication of crown and\r\nbridge procedures. I have been working as an expert in this field since 1992. I have done a\r\ncomprehensive dental evaluation, reviewed all available x-rays and analyzed the patients bite. It\r\nis my professional opinion that the dental work previously done was beneath the standard of care\r\nand done improperly. The patient had a full mouth of porcelain crowns done and when she bites\r\ndown, she should be able to make contact with all her teeth simultaneously. That is not the case.\r\nThe patient is only biting down on a few of her front teeth and none of her back teeth are hitting.\r\nThat is totally improper and by any dental standard would be considered negligent.\r\n\r\nThere are also multiple areas where cement was not cleaned properly after the crowns were cemented and\r\none of the crowns shows an obvious poor fit to the tooth when evaluated on the x-ray.\r\nThere are multiple consequences that can occur from an improper bite. They include, but are not\r\nlimited to fracture of the teeth, fracture of the porcelain, loosened of the teeth in the bone, bone\r\nloss around the teeth, infection, jaw pain, pain in the facial muscles, neck pain, shoulder pain,\r\ninability to eat or speak properly, pain in the teeth, etc. The patient already relates that she is\r\nhaving several of the symptoms. As you can see, if left untreated, the patients current condition\r\ncan lead to an endless amount of dental problems.\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, the solution to the problem is not a simple one, especially when the bite is so\r\nincorrect. The only solution the patient has is to start from the beginning and redo the improper\r\ndentistry that was done. in other words to replace all the crowns in her mouth. That is the only\r\nway that a proper bite could be established. I would estimate that the time necessary to correct\r\nthe dentistry would be a 3 to 4 month time frame and would cost approximately 35, 000.\r\n\r\nI hope this information is helpful to you.\r\n\r\nSincerely,\r\n\r\nMicheal S. Ramer, D.D.S.\r\n\r\n7672 NOB HILL ROAD . TAMARAC, FLORIDA 3332l . (954) 718-8840 . (954) 718-8897 fax .\r\\r\n\r\n\r\nMy nightmare with Doctor Alberto Coto Calvo gets much worse\r\nFeel free to click on any or all of my 3 blogs below that go directly to 3 separate YouTube video\\\\s. They all have very important information on your legal aspects when you are butchered abroad as well.\r\nThis is what happens when a ruthless, unethical, cunning and cruel medical tourism dentist butchers you abroad !
