Complaint: I own a few rental properties in Massillon Oh. One of my rentals emptied out and the people left behind two kittens. They were about 16 weeks of age. I didn’t want to take them to the pound because I knew they would get put down. So I kept them for about a month…. I’ve never owned a cat before, anyway my one grandson was very allergic to them. In the period of that month I got them wormed and all their shots completed along with their rabies and had health certificates for them from my local vet. Each costing me $162 each. I saved all my receipts. I placed them for adoption in the paper requesting $75 each. I knew I would never get all of my money back but didn’t want to place them for free. I was advised not too. Jackie Conrad came to visit the two kitties and didn’t decide that day, came the following day too. Finally she decided that she wanted both kitties but did not have the money. She claimed that she had two young boys and that she wanted a kitten for each one of them. Gave me references. Promise to pay me $75 for each kitten out of the next two paychecks of her husbands pay. Needless to say I have never been paid. I bothered her for months about the money and got nasty responses. Then someone emailed me and told me that she only has one kitten that she sold the other kitten for $100…. I talked to the people that have the other kitten. So it was verified. Terrible people, liars, thieves scammers Nate and Jackie Conrad.
