National General quoted me coverage and I signed up and paid the first months premium. After that they say they sent me an email where my yearly quote had gone up by 50% due to a faulty headlight incident. This was a ticket issued with no points assessed. | I never received the email, so when I confronted them that I never sided up for the new rate and that if I cancelled they would charge me a penalty, they basically said too bad. If I don’t pay, they threatened to sue me for the $13 that they say I owe. So my coverage for 6 days will end up costing more than a single months premium.
