I recieved a UE-22 error on my system and after futher investigation i had determiend that the issue was easily resolved by applying heat from a heat gun for about 10 seconds at the height of 8-10 inches , i though this was poor design at first then investigated further and found another user on the internet that had the same problem except with another model from pioneer, they had done some investigating as well and said they had found that Texas instruments had advised pioneer that the chips they were using were defective and would last roughly around 2 years of continous use, and pioneer continued to use it, i have also found out that Pioneer is still using the exact same model chip in their systems to this date, where i got extremely disatisfied with pioneer is that there is a fix that same fix is using the exact same chip on possibly a repaired card or new but the board to be replaced is more then what the actual unit cost. seeing as this has happened in two countries this should be considered fraud and criminal, as they had knowningly sold a product that would self detonate just after they 2 year warranty forcing the end user to purchase another unit or the repair. either way spending the 650 for it. in another way if you were to buy a car from a dealership and it failed completely 26 months after you purchased it even though you can prove there was no neglect and then others that purchased that same brand car experainced then same exact issues, that manufacture would be held liable and responsible to correct that issue . well I’m holding Pioneer liable and responsible to correct this issue they have self inflicted upon them selves when using a known faulty part.
