Hired company to move us from Tempe Apt to Mesa Apt. The day the 3 men come—we bought them lunch and also furnished cold drinks all day. After loading moving truck all day Tom the driver told us his dolly broke. We told him he could use ours to finish—-so he did not have to go get another one. | Once truck was all loaded they said was too late to unload at new Apt. So they told us they would lock the truck up and bring it all the next day. But we told them we had to have at least our bed–1 is in wheelchair and the other on walker. So they agreed to to come that night and do that. While here I said to also leave us the small 3×5 freezer that was loaded with food–but Tom refused to unload it and said they would bring it the next day. | They had put our dolly in truck and was still using it that night. the next day –the owner Mickel–came with the truck and 2 men–said was short handed–he was going to help. So they all was working and yes they were still using our dolly. Also we notice they left the little freezer sit outside all day. So I told Mickel I wanted to tell him about Tom refusing to leave it last night. He said it was ok and still cold—so I told him why leave it in the heat all day and not plug it in. | They finally did then when I said it was full and all the food would be bad. I really was worried about if the food is good or not–lots of just cold items–defrosted. But Mickel was not even interested!!! So when they were all done –Mickel was the only one who came back in for payment of job. The other men did not come back in or return our dolly. | Of course–with us being disabled–we did not notice it and paid the bill. So now after we start to put things in new Apt—no dolly and lots of items are missing. I call and told Mickel–and he said they left dolly in the gargage–LOL–nope there is no gargage at either apt. Then he said it was not on truck–and he would come find it here. LOL–we have looked everywhere. | I have told him–so he now say have to charge us $50 to come find it here. I said that was really bad business after we let borrow–and maybe I should report to police all the other missing items. Mickel is just taking advance of old disabled seniors–he changed the price twice on us too. Now he has said they dont have our dolly after telling they in garage–I said maybe the last job had garage–just go check it. | When I stated had other stuff missing too–he got mad.Told me not contact again or would file police I was harassemnt . Please can you help us?? Not a big deal to some–but when you are on S.S. and disabled and seniors it really is ABUSE!!!!!
