Retriever is a tricky company and uses hidden language to trap its customers with fees. In addition, their policies make it almost impossible to ever actually end your relationship (and stop paying their fees). | Here’s our brief story: | 1) we recently started using an electronic medical record; this system has an integrated payment processing function — and this is managed by a different processing company | 2) we attempted to contact our representative regarding ending our relationship, as we obviously don’t need two payment processors; our representative had left the company and no new rep had contacted us | 3) we called the corporate office and were given the run around for about 6 weeks; eventually we spoke to a “customer service” representative who essentially threatened us with fees and said that we signed a contract that we can’t break
