Complaint: We bought a custom home from Greg two years ago. In February, I was taking a morning bath in our marble tub. I heard a loud pop and called my husband in to question the noise. Then I started hearing a dripping sound. I looked down and noticed a large crack in our tub. Now i weigh 125 lbs so im not stretching the weight limitations. We contacted Greg immediately. We had only been in our home for 2 1/2 years. After several attthen, Greg had the marble company out to inspect tub. We were told that it was either a heavy impact fracture, installation fracture, or thermal fracture. Greg was telling us that the tub is not under warranty and he spoke with the company and they said they were not responible for replacing tub. I didn’t hear from Greg for a couple of weeks so I started calling him weekly to find out status of tub. He told me that the company said they were not going to pay for replacement but he was going to try to negotiate with them. Again a couple of weeks went by and no word from Greg. I decided to contact the marble company. I noticed they had an outstanding reputation with the BBB. On their web site I saw that marble was under warranty for 5 years. I then called company and spoke with the manager. Come to find out they originally told Greg they would replace tub without cost and Greg’s company only had to install our tub. This was documented in their computers May 27,2013. Today is July 19 and Greg still did not relay this information to us. In fact he lied to our face and said the company claimed they were not responsible. We are going to have a meeting with president of marble company and Greg. Superior Marble also stated they have been trying to reach Greg on several occasions but had not been able to . Unfortunately this is not only issue we have had with Greg. When we first moved in we noticed leaking in our dining room. Greg sent his crew to look at roof and they said they “fixed”” issue. Several months later our dining room ceiling was pouring water from ceiling. We video taped actual leaking event and showed Greg video. He said he would send crew out to look at it. A few weeks later we still have not seen crew. I called Greg and he told me that it needed to be raining to find leak. REALLY? I do not claim to know anything about construction but this sounded ridiculous. I called an aquaintance of mine who is a home builder and he said it sounds like a flashing problem. I called Greg and asked him if this was a possibility. He didn’t think so but he would send some men up. A week later men agreed it was a flashing problem they repaired problem and would be back in a couple of days to repair large hole in our ceiling . Honestly that was over two months ago!!!! so while I had Greg on phone regarding tub I demanded that enough time had went by and I wanted my ceiling fixed. That I was wasting my money on an inflated energy bill due to hole in ceiling. We now have tentative date set for next Wednesday I will not hold my breath. Also before we moved in our home

He and i quote said. “”Eventually the home owner has to takebresponsibilities of improvements. Thats why i went broke in my last business. Because i was alwys trying to help people out way after warrenty. i replied this was an issue before we moved in that was not resolved. I’m not asking him to fix a nail pop after 2 1/2 years. This is a foundation problem that was noted before we moved in and it still has not been correctly fixed! This builder obviously does not respect his customers. For a home builder designing and building homes over $500
