Sullivan Solar Power Review

Sullivan Solar came out to design a solar system for our house. A detail request was provided as to what our goal was with going solar. We requested that we break even at the end of the year. Joe Hamilton (sales) came out and assured us that his design will cover all and even more of our energy consumption taking account our previous history of usage and our goals. After installation, we started to acrue a balance with the utility company. Multiple attempts were made to resolve this with no avail. A negative Yelp review finally sparked the CEO, Daniel Sullivan, to reach out. He promised to take care of the problem and fix the underproduction issue. He strung us along for almost 6 months, lying and decieving us with threats and accusations. He finally did nothing. | I contacted the BBB and State contractors board. The latter found them in violation of doing inappropriate financing (slap on the wrist). Recently we had another company come out to assess our system. Several of the employees used to work for Sullivan and clearly showed their frustration when they saw and heard what Sullivan did. They unequivocally, without any hesitation stated that Sullivan’s business model is very clear. It is to under-size solar systems so that they stay competitive with others. Sullivan demanded and forced their employees to cheat customers and design smaller systems. Sullivan is ripping people off on a daily basis and they need to be stopped. There are several people that have expressed similar problems and have posted neg reviews on Yelp. We filed with the Fed Trade Commision to investigate. Stay away from Sullivan. They will rip you off.
