Debra L Hathhort Is the current manager of Sunridge Terrace apartment homes in Happy Valley, Oregon (owned by C&R real estate in Portland Oregon.) Debra runs her office like a Gestapo agent. She’s violating the law by not having a sign up with details about the towing company. They practice predatory towing and PREDATORY FINING and most likely receive kickbacks every time someone’s car is towed or fined. | They also STEAL everyone’s deposits and lie about the reasons. The practice of predatory fining is soon to be exposed. Debra has her colleagues patrolling the parking lot at night to hand out parking fines for tenants who may park (even for five minutes) in guest parking, while they move their other cars around in their garage and the space behind it. | Guest parking is not labeled. This is another violation of law. Debra gets angry if you report her to her bosses at C&R Real Estate or suggest you may contact an attorney. She retaliates by lying about you, the whistleblower. She and her staff post positive reviews about the apartment complex, violating posting laws on the apartment complex sites. | You will find the real reviews on yelp where they have received about 2/5 stars, Because of their unprofessional / unethical management team. It could be a nice place to live, but there’s no feeling of community or home because they think they are running a school, where the kids can’t do anything without a hall pass. | I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to fine people $125 – $250 for parking five minutes in a guest parking spot – none of which are labeled, by the way. I have reported this to Kyle at KTW a local television reporter who has tried to shine the light on predatory towing practices in the past. I’m consulting an attorney right now to shine a light on the problem since I have found many other tenants who have the same issue. | This has infuriated Debra Hathhort. She’s now trying to force me too turn in my notice to vacate. She knows I’ve been talking to other tenants and is fearful about my lawsuit because she knows I’m telling the truth. Like a child with her hand caught in the cookie jar, she retaliates by shouting “you’re the one who removed the sign!” | Instead of simply admitting her mistake or Taking responsibility for it, she denies it and starts hurling around accusations like a child having a temper tantrum. Prone to emotional outbursts, it’s surprising she’s the manager. Her staff has a revolving door because no one can put up with her for too long. | She rarely even shows up for work, a fact that she keeps keeps hidden from C&R real estate, who owns Sunridge Terrace. They are as bad as she is though, with horrible reviews as well. Two peas in a pod. | Run, don’t walk away from this complex – don’t let them fool you when they’re trying to convince you to sign a lease. They’ll be fakey nice until you’ve moved in. After that they’ll treat you like an a student who is walking into the principals office when u go to the leasing office. | Debra clearly has issues, which keep her from doing her job like a true professional. She’s rarely in the office and doesn’t return phone calls or emails until days later. She has a double standard, Cant admit when she’s made a mistake, and lies to cover it up. She keeps all phone messages to use them against you, but can’t stand it if you videotape her in the middle of one of her emotional outbursts. | The only way to stop it is to post it online. I will set up a YouTube channel soon so people can see what they’re getting into before they make the mistake of signing a lease.
