Superior Court of Kern County Review

A lawyer, Dawn Bittleston asked the judge if she could sit as pro temp for my case. She cleared the courtroom of any court reporters and had bailiff make certain everybody’s phone was off and put away. My ex-wife and her lawyer who were properly served by Borton-Petrini Law Firm did not show so the acting judge when out of the courtroom to find someone to stand in for the attorny. She proceeded to take my proof of service papers, rip them up and tell me the opposing party was not served and that I served the wrong people. I have a copy of proof of service but was told “Too bad, its the Law!” The case was dropped and I was told to get out. I never got a chance to speak. My understanding is that a judge has immunity protection and there is nothing I can do about it.
