Complaint: I retired from the Oklahoma National Guard the last day of December 2014. on April the 7th of 2015 I received a letter post marked 3/30/2015 stating my premium was past due. this was the first and only contact from usba. Today , April 10th 2015 I went to their website to pay and set up automatic payments but it said I wasn’t a member. I called and talked to a lady and told her I was trying to get this done and gave her my new address. She said my policy was cancelled for non payment. I said can I just fill out this form I got this week and mail it in for the automatic payments. She said it you can’t but it won’t work. I said how can it be cancelled when this is the only bill I have received. She said we have returned mail on you that’s why. I replied that us not true, we own both properties and still get mail at both addresses. In closing the lady was rude, and lied. The transition from the National Guard to retirement should be better, and this company failed me today.
